Discipleship is the deeper work of God in a person’s life. Jesus was pretty clear that one objective of the church is to produce disciples. Discipleship is not some rigorous life of rule keeping and straight-laced living. True discipleship is learning to get out of the way so that Jesus Christ can live His life through you. John best describes it in the Bible when he said, “He must become greater; I must become less.” John 3:30 The church is called to “Go therefore and make disciples” Matthew 28:19 but one challenge is to know what a disciple really is. What does a disciple look like? How can you take someone to a place that doesn’t exist? Our entire life will be a discipleship process and we do not arrive at perfection until we die or Jesus returns. In the meantime however, God has a great adventure planned out for us. His plan is to conform us daily into the image of Christ. Our desire is to help you on this journey of discipleship.
